Dr. Brian D Anderson Summit, NJ
What do you do when medications don't work? This is the question that drove Brian Anderson to find and utilize exciting and new groundbreaking treatments to help countless suffering patients that had not received answers to their health problems elsewhere.
Dr. Anderson graduated from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA majoring in Communications. From there, he attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. Since graduating with his Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Brian Anderson has spent hundreds of hours of post-graduate understanding in Functional Medicine, Functional Endocrinology, Functional Blood Chemistry and Nutrition, Functional Neurology, Neuronal Conduction Studies, Laserology, and Auriculotherapy.
Following his training in Dallas, Dr. Brian D Anderson returned to his home state of New Jersey. As his practice grew, so did his scope of treatment. Dr. Brian Anderson began his practice with predominantly treating musculoskeletal concerns and then moved into more complex multi-faceted concerns.
Today he sees patients who that are dealing with Fibromyalgia, Vertigo, Dizziness, Balance Issues, Migraines, Peripheral Neuropathy, restless leg syndrome, post-surgical backs, all varieties of disc problems and stenosis, Chronic Fatigue, along with other chronic pain syndromes, while sustaining musculoskeletal care.
Dr. Anderson draws from years of experience and educational background, making him particularly capable and excited to embrace the chronic pain patient. The individual experience of being a patient at Premier Health of Summit, Dr. Brian Anderson's clinic, begins with one of the most thorough, extensive and extensive evaluations possible. A thorough patient history as well as an understanding of patient treatment goals is vital to the evaluation.
Once the analysis is finished and the patient is accepted into the program, Dr. Brian Anderson spends a considerable amount of time pouring over the patient history, exam findings, prior test results, and patient end goals to develop a drug-free, neurologic, metabolic, and\/or musculoskeletal (or a combined) approach to rectify or reduce the underlying cause of symptoms.
That concept bears repeating-- the goal of care is not just to correct symptoms-- it is, when possible, to determine and relieve the underlying complication, or mechanism of the symptoms. Part of the care includes home program methods that are focused on self-care, to greatly enhance improvement. This is truly a "holistic" embodiment of care as it involves reviewing all systems of the body and how they have ceased to integrate and "balance," therefore creating the patient's unique set of symptoms.
The mechanisms for chronic pain are as distinct and intricate as the patients themselves. Dr. Brian Anderson feels the typical diagnosis is a little too general for his purposes and he digs very deeply into what the patient is experiencing and which areas need improvement. With that in mind, he hopes to continue to build and offer the community a facility where patients receive evaluations and treatments based on their specific mechanisms and symptoms, not just their medical diagnosis.
Dr. Anderson stated that he feels incredibly blessed to be able to do this work and is blessed to have the ability to expand his knowledge of life and people. He is grateful every day to wake up and do what he loves: assisting people get better. It is his ambition, his commitment.

Neuropathy Treatment Press Release
Below is an interesting press release that was featured in the Independent press last year:
Summit, NJ 4-15-10 --A new treatment is available in Summit, New Jersey to help relieve peripheral neuropathy pain.
Dr. Brian Anderson can show how HealthLight pulsed infared light therapy combined with other therapies can help reduce pain and reverse symptoms of diabetic neuropathy.
Who does this help? Patients with diabetic neuropathy, restless leg syndrome, sciatic neuropathy and spinal disc herniations can see positive results. The symptoms have also been linked recently to the use of statin drugs, often used to lower cholesterol.
Used in conjunction with new chiropractic treatment methods, patient treatment results at Dr. Anderson’s Neuropathy Treatment Centers of America office in Summit offer a very compelling option for conservative, non-surgical treatment of both peripheral neuropathy and spinal disc herniations.
“The brain and spine is the key to an awful lot of nerve problems involving the lower leg,” reports Dr. Anderson. “Even when patients have diabetes, the degenerated discs in the back only add to the nerve problems.”
“The combination of infrared light therapy with our state-of-the-art chiropractic treatments have given patients a new lease on life, in many cases enabling their medical physician to reduce or completely eliminate the need for prescription pain medications,” says Dr. Anderson. “I am very pleased to be able to offer this unique combination of treatments, which you might not typically see in a chiropractic office setting. It enables our office to treat a wider variety of conditions and effectively manage and actually improve the health of many of our neighbors suffering with this chronic pain.”
Dr. Anderson is a member of Neuropathy Treatment Centers of America, which has offices across the U.S.A, Canada, Mexico and Europe. Using the latest technology in therapy, combined with advanced training, these doctors are assisting patients to overcome pain and disability associated with peripheral neuropathy pain. Dr. Anderson only works with patients that he feels he can help with his program.
